When clickBACON connects with your R365 account, your vendor list is imported and kept updated automatically.


Why Vendors Must Match Exactly

With R365, vendor names must be an exact match. If a document is pushed with even the smallest difference (a misspelling, capitalization change, or spacing) the document will fail.


For this reason:

  • You cannot edit or add vendors directly in clickBACON.
  • All new vendors must be created in R365 first.
  • Once added in R365, vendors will sync with clickBACON daily.


Adding a Vendor on the Fly

If you need to add a vendor quickly, follow these steps:

  1. Click the GEAR icon
  2. Select LISTS → VENDORS
  3. Click the link to ADD A NEW VENDOR (you’ll be redirected to R365)
  4. Create the vendor in R365
  5. Return to clickBACON
  6. From either the Vendor Settings Page or within a Document, click REFRESH or RESYNC vendors
  7. Your new vendor will now appear in clickBACON


This process ensures your vendor list stays accurate and prevents documents from failing due to mismatched names.
